Course content
Week 1 Introduction. health and safety Types of hematological material. Blood count (basic parameters) + analyzers. 2nd week Osmotic resistance of erythrocytes. Types of hemolysis. 3rd week Determination of the number of erythrocytes, determination of hemoglobin concentration, calculation of values ??(MCV, MCH, MCHC). 4th week Determination of leukocyte count, introduction to DIFF, blood smear preparation. 5th week Determination of DIFF - evaluation of unknown sample, pathological changes. 6th week Determination of the number of platelets + hemocoagulation examination (APTT, PT). 7th week Myelogram - physiological bone marrow - red and white blood series. 8th week Blood groups ? AB0 and Rh system. 9th week Special staining, cytochemical methods - basic reticulocyte staining, iron staining, alkaline phosphatase. 10th week Student presentation + excursion to the Hematology Department of the Pardubice Hospital. 11th week Credit.
