Course content
|
Safety at work in laboratories of clinical biochemistry. Laboratory information system. Analytical performance of the method (linearity, precision, recovery, detection limit). Electrolytes and microelements, importance and possibilities of determination electrolytes and microelements important for clinical practice. Enzymes, importance and possibilities of determination. Enzyme kinetics. Determination of enzymes and isoenzymes. Proteins, importance and possibilities of determination of total protein and albumin. Electrophoresis. Determination of selected proteins of acute phase. Non-protein nitric compounds. The comparison determination of uric acid by enzymatic method with method HPLC. Determination of creatinine and urea. Investigation of glomerular filtration. Lipids. Importance and possibilities of determination of total plasma cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C, triglycerides, ApoA-I and ApoB, calculation the total cholesterol-HDL-C/HDL-C ratio. Blood pigments: importance and possibilities of determination. Determination of bilirubin, hemoglobin and its derivates including glycated hemoglobin. Spectrophotometric determination of MDA (malondialdehyde) as a marker of oxidative stress. Glucose: importance and possibilities of determination in human serum. Biochemical and toxicological investigation of urine. Detection of blood in stool.
