Business management - substance, objectives and goals, contemporary trends in business management. Framework of business management. Management of changes, procedural approach to strategic management of enterprises. Marketing management - substance of marketing, strategic marketing analysis. Marketing management - decisions about marketing strategies and tactics for target markets. Quality management in enterprises. Innovation management in enterprises. Production system creation in enterprises. Fundamentals of economic optimization of chemical manufacturing. Tactical and operational management of sales, manufacturing and purchase as integrated logistic system. Management of energetics and maintainance. Personnel management. Plan implementation. Control and controlling. Organization of enterprises.

Learning outcomes
|
The objective of this subject is to create at students a complex knowledge and skills in business management in contemporary market conditions.
The graduates are able to define a mission and vision of enterprises and SBUs, to evaluate market environment and position of enterprise in it, to set plans for different business functions, to manage their implementation and to control enterprises´ performance with using processing management of enterprises.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge in mathematics on high school level is needed for study of the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Didactic test
Oral exam required. Level of acquired knowledge, approaches, as well as skill in practice application are examined. During term the knowledge is verified by two examination papers, their results are considered as a part of final classification.
