Course content
1. Psychology - formation, development, modern conceptions and theories. 2. Introduction into personality psychology - dynamics of personality; performance, motivation and profile characteristics of a personality. 3. Manager - his activities and authority, managing style, social role. 4. Introduction to communication in manager´s work - ways, feed back; communication in company, malfunction in communication. 5. Communication as manager´s sklil - forms, paralingvistics, importance, application in presentation 6. Social perception - processes, troubles and mistakes in perception. 7. Social group - social position and role, social norms; work group - structure, influence to performance and satisfaction of employees; team and work in team. 8. Psychology and sociology in commercial activities. 9. Employees selection as one of basic manager´s skills. 10. Timemanagement - ways of time waste, decision making and planning in timemanagement, energy cycle of person, personal quality. 11. Holding a meeting - organization of meeting, strategy of exact time, efective leading of meeting, feed back. 12. Psychic hygiene and stress - targets and principles of psychic hygiene, eustres and distres, kinds of stessors, A-type symptoms. 13. Assertiveness and manipulation - basic terms, forms of manipulation, basic assertive skills for manager´s work. Conflicts - introduction in conflict theory, negotiation, mediation. 14. Company culture - basic elements, changes in company culture, company identity.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The goal of this subject is to give to the students the basic information concerning a personality psychology, to let them know theoretically the chosen managing skills and to let them try some of them in practise.
After finishing their studies of this subject the students are able to orientate themselves in the personality psychology area, in the area of a personality growing and its attitude to the others round. They know the basic managing skills and can use them during further studies, presentation of their personalities or their work and they can achieve a better quality of their lives. The knowledge learned during this subject can significantly help to the students to become a part of working teams or to execute the manager position.
Prerequisites
The students needn´t pass any subject before.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

This subject examination has an oral form. During the term every student will deal with and later present an arbitrary theme concerning the psychology area. The level of this presentation will have an influence during the above examination.
