Course content
1. Introduction to enterprise resource planning information systems - enterprise and information. 2. Process, resource, performance and security management. 3. Management and implementation of information systems. 4. Customer relationship management. 5. Supply Chain Management. 6. Personnel information systems. 7. Business Intelligence, management information systems. 8. Production management, planning and monitoring. 9. Software support for project management. 10. Document management, secure communication. 11. E-business. 12. Specifics of chemical technologies in information systems. 13. Current trends in information technology and enterprise resourece planning.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration, Skills training
  • Term paper - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a final test - 14 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 13 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 13 hours per semester
  • Preparation of a presentation (report) in a foreign language - 14 hours per semester
  • Contact teaching - 39 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to inform students about the enterprice resource planning systems in companies in range to be able to orientate in area of questions of information technologies in companies.
After completing the subject, the student has got the necessary knowledge of enterprise resource planning, the functionality of such systems and requirements related to the management of information systems in enterprises.
Prerequisites
The students needn´t pass any subject before.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The exam is written and oral. During the course the student prepares a semester work and presents a presentation from the area of ICT. The semester work and presentation will be taken into account during the exam.
