1st week Understanding Business Activity. 2nd week External Influences on Business Activities. 3rd week Basic Economic Aspects in Chemical Industry, Sustainable Manufacturing. 4th week Strategic Management. 5th week People in Business, Industry specifics. 6th week Marketing. 7th week Business Finance: Basic External Financial and Nonfinancial Reports. 8th week Business Finance: Analysis. 9th week Internal Accounting Systems. 10th week Internal Accounting Systems, industry specifics. 11th week Operations Management: Introduction. 12th week Operations Management: Selected Decision-Making Tools. 13th week Students Conference - Presentation of Term Works and Discussion.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of sectoral business economics and management of chemical industry companies, using English terminology.
After completing the course, the student has a basic idea and vocabulary in English in the field of business management. He / she is able to orientate himself / herself in the given issues and calculations needed for common business management including its further development and financing. It has the competence to use common process and performance management tools.
Prerequisites
Knowledge in English is needed for study of the subject.
