Course content
Companies, companies in socially sensitive sectors and process manufacturing companies in the context of current economic and social challenges. Theoretical starting points and practical consequences of economic, environmental, ethical, social and philanthropic responsibility of process manufacturing companies. Methods of evaluating the benefits of socially responsible activities performed by companies. Assessing the effectiveness of performance of socially responsible activities by companies. Socially responsible investing. The CE3SPA method and modern trends in communication of sustainable corporate behaviour. New trends in financing of companies. The sharing, collaborative and circular economy from the perspective of process manufacturing companies. The model of commercial sharing by companies. The model of charitable sharing by companies.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to introduce students to new trends in the field of economics and management of process manufacturing companies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Oral examination verifying the doctoral student's knowledge of the required literature. The examination also includes elaboration and presentation of a selected problem with regard to the focus of the dissertation, this being in the form of a scientific article.
