Course content
Growth of single crystals. Thin and thick films preparation. Vacuum technology. Materiáls for microelectronics. Inorganic fibers. Glass fibers for telecommunications. Powders.

Learning outcomes
Students will obtain information on advance methods of production of various materials forms like single crystals, thin films, fibers, powders, etc.
Students get knowledge on the advanced technologies of materials preparation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Oral examination. During semester students write 2 test with 20 questions. Students also write a report (5 pages) on a given subject (material or technology).
