To introduce students to the fundamentals of metallic materials and alloys. Emphasis is placed on the structure, significant properties and production of important metals and alloys.
The student is able to have a basic understanding of metals and alloys.

Written examination
Oral examination. Two written tests with 20 questions. Writing a report on a special topics from metallic materials.
