Within the laboratories, the student completes a cycle of works including the preparation of samples of various materials and their subsequent characterization in terms of composition, structure, optical properties, thermal properties and surface morphology. The graduate of the laboratory will gain practical experience with the synthesis and characterization of materials.
Student is capable to apply basic methods of materials structure and properties characterization after this course fulfilment.
