The course will emphasize the contemporary aspects of homogeneous catalysis using coordination and organometallic compounds. Catalytic processes of olefin polymerization, metathetic reactions, (cross-) coupling reactions, ring-opening polymerization, etc. will be discussed. Special sections belong to the industrial use of these methods. The ecological and economic influences and consequences of these productions will be emphasized.
