Learning outcomes
The subject of the study in the English language are properties of solid surfaces in terms of microscopic homogeneity (optical microscopy, SEM, TEM/HRTEM, AFM), surface structure (Raman, IR, SERS), roughness topography (AFM), chemical composition of surface layers (EDX, XPS/UPS, LA-ICP, SIMS, MALDI-TOF), mechanical properties (force spectroscopy, nanoindentation including material adhesion to the substrate) and other techniques (wettability). The subject will also include the possible changes of surface by physico-chemical influences.
