This course deals with current trends in coordination and organometallic chemistry. In particular, compounds with non-traditional oxidation states of metals and ligands, multinuclear compounds and clusters, including their potential applications, will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation of these compounds, structural and electronic description, and the resulting reactivity to small molecules and unsaturated systems.
