Course content
|
1.-2. week: Procedure for processing a bachelor thesis. Experiment planning. Ways of processing, presenting and evaluating the obtained results of the experimental part. Citation of literature. 3-12 week: Independent activity of the student focused on processing the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis (finding a sufficient number of relevant sources on the topic of the bachelor's thesis, studying them and writing them in the form of the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis). Consultation of students with teachers. Preparation of the presentation of theoretical part. 13. week: Presentation of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is a preparation of theoretical part of bachelor thesis that has to be handed to supervisor in first half of January. At the end of the term students have a seminar presentation of theoretical parts of their bachelor theses. The lectures provide information how to write bachelor thesis, guidelines for referencing, design of experiment, presentation of research results, etc.
On completion of this course, the student will have prepared the theoretical part of bachelor thesis and understand further steps in its elaboration with focus on planning the experiment, measuring and evaluation of data, and finally discussion of the results and making conclusions.

Prerequisites
|
Performance of studying engagements necessary for submission of the bachelor work project is required, that students may take andvantage to use the knowledge obtained in the course in the search of these projects.
