Course content
Graphic design, preflight, estimating, choice of production technology; season's greetings, calendars, books, folding boxes, advertising or educational material.

Learning outcomes
The course is suitable for students with a background in printing technologies, graphic arts and related technological areas. The aim is to provide practical experience with full processing of printing orders. Tasks include design and preparation of printing data, selection and reservation of material needed, estimating, printing and finishing.
Upon completing this course, the student will have practical experience in the key design and production steps of different printing products meeting the specified requirements, as well as the possibilities and limitations of various production methods.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of preceding courses, in particular Recording and Reproduction Technologies, Basics of Printing Techniques, Typography, Image Data Processing, Print Data Preparation and Design and Visualisation, and the corresponding software skills.

Home assignment evaluation, Work-related product analysis, Creative work analysis

To complete the course, the student is obliged to participate in the course according to the schedule and has to work out all laboratory tasks with sufficient quality, fulfilling the technical and aesthetical requirements.
