Course content
History of photography. Fundamental notions. Photographic technique - types of cameras, SLR, compact, exposition metering, sharpening manual and automatic. Photographic technique - types of lenses, using technology, construction, materials, selection, testing, graphic exhibit of properties and mistakes of lenses. Wide-angle, standard, and telephoto lenses, macrolenses, testing lenses by Imatest. Photographic technique - filters, flash, lights, work with flash and lights, types of lights, luminous tent. Digital photography - fundamentals, sensor types, types of recording cards, image formats, digital photography in Adobe Photoshop CS4, basic processing. Digital photography - digital negative - RAW, HDR, Color Management, prepress, printing prints on inkjet and laser printers, color management in photography. Art styles in photography.

Students obtain basic knowledge needed for acquisition suitable photographic techniques and knowledge for its optimum utilization.

Oral examination, Creative work analysis, Student portfolio analysis

Examination is oral. Primary form of examination is discussion above choice circuits. It's verification rate of appropriation knowledge, conception, apply skills and working with appropriation programs.
