Learning outcomes
|
These problem-specific tasks build mainly upon the Analytical Methods for the Study of Thin Films, Print Production Management and Colorimetry courses. The objective of the course is to deepen the knowledge of individual methods and procedures by their practical use. Emphasis is also put on the ability to independently solve individual tasks and analyse the results or skills acquired.
On completion of this course, the student understands the features of printing plant project for given job specifications and methods used in quality management. Student also has practical experience in colour management, colour mixing and free surface energy treatment, as well as with the use of different characterisation methods.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment
To complete the course, the student is obliged to participate in the course according to the schedule and has to work out all laboratory tasks, including protocols or presentations, and defend the results. Before processing each task, the student must demonstrate the necessary theoretical knowledge and readiness for the task. The substitute date will be determined by the teacher if necessary. Unless otherwise specified for the particular task, it is necessary to submit the required outputs within one week of processing the task at the latest. To complete each task, the student has at most two corrective attempts. Before receiving credit, students take a self-evaluation test for the course in LMS Moodle.
