Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
1.Practical verification of the basic physical laws encountered by the student in theoretical study of physics during lectures. 2. Supporting specialization of study programs by incorporating application-motivated partial tasks: introduction to physical principles of LCD operation, polarimetry methods, X-ray structure analysis, mass spectroscopy, calorimetry and centrifugation.
Student will obtain after completing the course: 1. the ability to correctly use basic measuring instruments; 2. ability to prepare and realize simple experiments; 3. ability of mathematical processing of measurement results and ability to analyze measured data (Excel, Matlab, Scilab); 4. ability to interpret experimental results; 5. ability to work independently and ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems; 6. readiness to work in other bacelor and master study laboratories.
Prerequisites
Not specified.
