Course content
Modification and synthesis of resins, polymers and composites polyreactions, such as emulsion polymerization radicals, synthesis hardeners and reactoplast resins, sample preparation for analytical assessments and determining the characteristics of the products according to the preparation of polymers, resins and hardeners and the conditions of preparing samples, curing temperature, reactant ratio, etc. Analytical assessment and evaluation of physical-mechanical properties of polymers with the use of modern physics, analytical and testing methods. Evaluation of the results.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The course is aimed at developing an experimental individual student skills in dealing with specific problems in the field of macromolecular chemistry, synthesis and evaluation of polymers, and under the direct guidance of a teacher. Special laboratories for the teaching field is used as well as common laboratory analysis and evaluation of polymers as SYNPO Pardubice, which has the technical equipment needed to tackle some problems. The goal is to get familiar with the preparation of laboratory samples, measuring methods and apparatus for determining the fundamental properties of polymeric materials and composites
The listener will gain a basic overview of polymer materials, their preparation (especially plastics) and testing physical-mechanical properties of different methods.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of organic and macromolecular chemistry. Basic skill in chemical laboratory.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation

Each work must be drawn up a protocol that is classified.
