Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
Subject is conceived as a lab and serves to knowledges acquisition and practice of macromolecular chemistry, polymers preparation by polymerisation, polycondensation, polyaddition, especially polymer binding agents synthesis and some kinds of synthetic fibres synthesis. It is a follow up to the theoretical basis of subjects Polymer and composites chemistry and Film-forming agents chemistry. Aim of the subject is to acquaint the student with laboratory preparation of various kinds of polymeric materials. Another aim is improve manual skills applicable to various preparations and synthesis carried out in research laboratories.
Graduate is able to participate in works in research and development laboratories specialized for polymeric materials after the graduation from this subject.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of organic and macromolecular chemistry. Basic skill in chemical laboratory.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

There is an oral examination. Primary form of exam is the debate about selected themes. Level of acquired knowledge, conceptions and application acquirements is examined. Knowledge is examined by test during semester and its result is included into total classification.
