Analytical assessment and evaluation of physical-mechanical properties of polymers with the use of modern physics, analytical and testing methods. Evaluation of the results.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
Subject includes familiarization with the preparation of samples, synthesis, measuring methods and apparatus for determining the properties of polymeric materials and composites. The aim is widespread familiarity with the laboratory preparation of samples, synthesis, measuring methods and apparatus for determining various characteristics of polymeric materials and composites and preparing for the experimental work in the thesis.
Listener gain an overview of the synthesis of polymeric materials, preparation of the samples and testing physical-mechanical properties of different methods. Is ready for the experimental portion of the specified thesis in the field of polymeric materials.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of organic and macromolecular chemistry. Basic skill in chemical laboratory.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

The student must write the reports on the roles. Final test takes into account the supplied protocols, to debate and the overall work in the laboratory. It investigated the rate of acquired knowledge and practical skills.
