Course content
|
Determination of mechanical, thermal and thermo-mechanical properties. Analytical determination of epoxide equivalent, number of amine and acid number. Calculation of the amount of hardener. Determination of cure characteristics and MFI.

Learning outcomes
|
The students will get acquainted with various instrumentation and various working procedures for evaluating the properties of polymeric and composite materials.
Student is able to participate in works with the instruments and to evaluate the measured properties of polymers and composite materials.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of organic and macromolecular chemistry. Basic skill in chemical laboratory.

For each experiment must be made report, which is classified.
