Course content
The topics addressed are determined by the specific assignment of the bachelor's thesis. The required study literature, preparations, laboratory equipment or other aids depend on the specific assignment of the bachelor's thesis. The student is informed by the supervisor of the bachelor's thesis about the requirements for the form, content of the bachelor's thesis and its presentation during the defense.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to verify the ability to apply the acquired knowledge and the student's independent work according to the bachelor's thesis assignment. Academic staff will write out the bachelor's thesis assignment with a topic covering the issues discussed during the study or related to it. In the case of a topic taken from practice or solved in cooperation with an external company or institution, a consultant may be assigned to the given workplace. The assignment contains the goal of the work, requirements or instructions for development, or basic literature. The guarantor of the study program will approve the topics and release them for students to register. The student will register for the selected topic no later than the end of the winter semester. At the beginning of the summer semester, the student will receive a written bachelor's thesis assignment. In the summer semester, the student will continuously attend individual consultations and work independently according to the instructions of the thesis supervisor or consultant. Credit is awarded by the thesis supervisor based on the submission of a complete bachelor's thesis that meets the assignment, requirements for the formal form of the thesis, and any other requirements of the thesis supervisor. The bachelor's thesis can be processed in two different ways, depending on the assignment, i.e. with experimental laboratory activities or as a research-type work. In the case of an experimental bachelor's thesis, it includes conducting the necessary experiments and evaluating experimental data.
The student is able to independently write a scientific text.
