Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with technologically important polymers used in the paint industry. The student will gain knowledge about binders based on natural and synthetic polymers. Emphasis will be placed on the description of the chemical processes that occur during the synthesis of these binders and during their hardening.
After completing the course, the student reaches basic orientation in chemistry and properties of polymer binder systems.
