Course content
1. Toxicology as a part of health risk assessment and management 2. Interaction of toxic substance with organism I - absorption a distribution 3. Limits for environmnental and occupational exposure to toxic substances 6. Nutrients a oxidative stress 7. Toxicology of heavy metals I - As, Hg 8. Toxicology of heavy metals II - Pb a Cd 9. Another toxic elements - Be, Al, Ni, Cr, Mn, Zn, Cu, Se, Ba, Tl, Ag 10. Toxicology of inorganic compounds of C 11. Toxicology of inorganic compounds of P, S a N 12. Toxicology of selected organic compounds 13. Carcinogens, mutagens and teratogens

Learning outcomes
The aim of lectures is to explain the basics of general and special toxicology with accent on problems occupational toxicology.
Students are well oriented in basics of general and experimental toxikology, they know toxic effects of elements and compounds selected as well as mechanisms of their toxicological activity and possibilities of toxicological risks reducing.
Prerequisites
Basic subject - there are not supposed any special skills or knowledge, only general competence of high school absolvent
