Course content
The student will get acquainted with the assignment of the diploma thesis and will follow the general instructions: - to study literary sources about given problems, especially current sources, foreign-language and original scientific works; - to elaborate a search - text, where already published results and findings on the given topic are listed; - to include the experimental part, in which the assigned tasks are gradually fulfilled, the results are consulted with the supervisor, statistically processed, presented in an appropriate way and evaluated their relevance for the given topic; - to write in writing the entire text of the diploma thesis with a detailed description of methods, instrumentation and materials, including the sources of analyzed samples, to present the results of the research supplemented by a discussion in a clear form.

Learning outcomes
The use of theoretical knowledge gained during the study in solving a specific theoretical or practical problem and elaboration of a report on the progress of the solution in written form according to a specific assignment.The student independently searches the theoretical basis for the task, plans and implements own experiment, evaluates the results independently and discusses their importance with the supervisor. Student keeps working diary and elaborates professional report - diploma thesis.
The student is able to use the theoretical and practical knowledge gained during the study in solving a specific theoretical or practical assignment. The student is able to independently search theoretical background for solving the task, plan and implement the experiment, evaluate the results and consult with the supervisor their importance. He / she is able to produce a written report on how to solve a given task. The student has mastered the principles of conducting and organizing notes on work.

Fulfillment of Study Plan Obligations.
