Finalization of the semester project based on the comments of the project leader, final consultation, finalization and submission of the semester project. 13. Final seminar with a presentation of the state of solution of assigned projects.

Learning outcomes
|
Practical project in the field of sustainability guides students through all the steps of solving project tasks, from their assignment to the final presentation. The first part is focused on project creation tools and project definition. Topics will be worked on in groups of 3-5 students. Collective work should contribute to the knowledge of the personal abilities and roles of the individual when participating in the solution of a common topic. Topics will be chosen in cooperation with university-wide departments "Sustainable University), they will reflect current issues of public administration as well as the assignments of cooperating industrial enterprises.
The student will gain an overview of the breadth of sustainability issues and the necessary cross-industry connectivity. After completing the course, he is able to orient himself in the issue of sustainability from an environmental and socio-economic point of view. He is able to point out the possibility of environmental, social and economic problems associated with common professional and personal events. The student will gain experience with a targeted search for data to solve a specific problem, planning specific tasks, a time schedule and a plan for experimental work, and data evaluation. They master teamwork in all phases of project solutions. This qualification is necessary for specialists ensuring the technological aspects of waste production and disposal, quality control in chemical laboratories or administrative management in public administration and other institutions in the field of environmental protection.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of general, inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistry and orientation in sustainable development issues are required.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Self project defence, Presentation
The evaluation of acquired knowledge and orientation in the subject matter will consist of: 50% student project evaluated at the final student conference by a team of pedagogues who are involved in the teaching 50% assessment by the project task leader
