Course content
1st - 4th Week: A literature research on the thesis 5th - 8th Week: Introduction to instrumentation needed to address the task 9th - 14th Week: Preliminary experiments of the thesis

Learning activities and teaching methods
Work with text (with textbook, with book), Skills training, Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The goal is to enhance laboratory practice skills in the field of environmental protection. Students learn specific instrumental techniques and procedures which could be used in the thesis.
After completing the course the student should have sufficient level of knowledge for independent work on the thesis.
Prerequisites
Knowledge on the bachelor degree level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation

The fulfillment of all tasks assigned by the supervisor of the thesis.
