Course content
Basic and advanced numerical methods: systems of linear and non-linear equations, numerical integration, solution of ordinary and partial differential equations. Application of numerical methods to the solution of complex chemical engineering problems using computer technology.

Learning outcomes
To teach the student to use basic and advanced methods of numerical mathematics to solve chemical engineering problems.
The student will be able to select and apply with the use of a computer an appropriate numerical method to solve a specific chemical engineering problem.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of linear algebra and mathematical analysis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Successfully solving given problems on the computer.
