Course content
Multicomponent distillation and rectification. Separation of multicomponent mixtures in one equilibrium stage, separation of multicomponent mixtures in multiple equilibrium stages. Multicomponent absorption, absorption factor method. Absorption with chemical reaction.

Learning outcomes
To familiarize the student with the theory and computational procedures of multicomponent separations.
The student will be able to solve multicomponent diffusion separation processes.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of diffusion processes within the scope of the master's degree in chemical engineering.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

The student must demonstrate knowledge of methods for solving multicomponent separation processes in a written test and in an oral examination.
