Course content |
Safety in chemical lab, safety during work with energetic materials. Chemical literature. Aromatic nitration. Thin layer chromatography (TLC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), infrared spectroscopy (IR), ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV). Colour reactions in identification of energetic materials. 2,4,6-Trinitrochlorbenzene preparation and its use in the synthesis of thermally stable polynitrocompounds.
