Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students into the practical application of energetic materials in the mining industry, including the introduction into the legislation in the Czech Republic. Practical examples of the preparation of technical design of blast works are given.
After completing the course, the student should have an overview of the methods of blasting work of small and large scale and processing of technical documentation for the implementation of these works. The procedure for the preparation of technical documentation is linked to the valid legislation of the Czech Republic. Completion of the course is a prerequisite for advanced study of explosion theory, focused on the processes taking place during blasting work of various specialties.
