Course content
1. week: Course content, brief history of commercial explosives, required properties of commercial explosives and their dividing. Classic Gelatine, Ammonium Nitrate and Ammonium saltpetre Explosives. 2.week: Ammonium saltpetre explosives bulk and granular. 3.week: Slurry explosives. 4. week: Intermolecular explosives. 5.week: Explosives for special industrial applications. 6.week: History of military explosives, their properties, characterization, classification, requirements on them according to their application. 7. week: Chemically uniform explosives. 8. week: Explosives with different consistency - dividing, properties, characterization. 9. a 10. weeks: Explosives with different consistency - production technology. 11. week: Filling of the ammunition objects by explosive charges. 12. week: Demilitarization of explosive charges and ammunition. 13. week: Conventional explosives for mass destruction weapons

Learning outcomes
Purposes of the course is forming at a student a complex conception about standard type and trends of the development technology of energetic materials, used like industrial and military explosives, about their quality and fabout fundamental areas of their using, including the methods of removing explosives from demilitarized ammunition.
A student, after graduation of this course, is able to orientation in assortment of the industrial and military explosives. He/She is qualified to decide about selection of a type of explosive for a given application from the point of wiev of its quality and technological availability.

Oral examination

Oral exam - a fundamental form of the exam is a discussion of selected ranges of problems. An adoption knowledge and skills are verified.
