Course content
The course is focused on the development and production of the individual energetic materials, mixed energetic materials for civil and military purposes, propellants and pyrotechnics goods (including goods for safety systems of automotive industry), the loading in ammunition and the life cycle of the materials for military purposes, including demilitarization, and the use of demilitarized energy-rich components of ammunition. In the case of propellants the students are familiar with the basics theory of propellants, their combustion and internal-ballistics characteristics, with application in the construction of various types of ammunition, focusing on promising directions and the application of new energy materials.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to create a comprehensive picture of students in the chemistry and technology of the key individual energetic materials, mixed energetic materials for industrial and military purposes, propellants and pyrotechnics goods, their properties and the basic directions in their usage, life cycles and utilization of demilitarized military materials.
