Particular industrial applications.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
Students of this course will get theoretically acquainted with the properties and preparation of organometallics based on the main group metals as well as on transition metals and their application in organic synthesis. This course further allows students to demonstrate and practice of the acquired knowledge on particular examples.
Students will mainly acquaint with a survey on the chemistry of organometalic compounds of (non)transition metals and with properties of the organometallics according to the particular metals and further with their preparation, characterization and finally also laboratory as well as industrial use.
Prerequisites
Main presupposition to manage the course are gained principles of basic organic chemistry and organic synthesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Written examination and its completion (max. 100 points) gain the final grade. Unsuccessful students will pass oral examination.
