Learning outcomes
|
The main aim of the course is to teach undergraduate students basic rules of organic chemistry nomenclature, to give information about basic general principles of organic chemistry (localized and delocalized chemical bond, stereochemistry, elemental principles of mechanisms of organic reactions), to show typical essential reactions of groups of organic compounds and to exercise presented knowledge on real examples.
Undergraduate student is after course passing able to use practically organic chemistry nomenclature, to connect knowledge of basic principles of organic chemistry with knowledge of typical reactions of groups of organic compounds.
