Learning outcomes
The main aim of the course is to teach fundamental English terminology of basic rules of organic chemistry, essential reactions of groups of organic compounds and basic methods of synthesis of organic compounds.
Student is after course passing is able to use independently fundamental English terminology of basic principles of organic chemistry with knowledge of typical reactions of groups of organic compounds reactions of groups of organic compounds and basic methods of synthesis of organic compounds.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of English.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Ability to describe basic principles of organic chemistry, reactions of common organic compounds and synthesis of simple organic molecules in English.
