Course objectives The course "Electronic components" focuses on semiconductor fundamentals as well as basic circuit analysis and applications of components. Teaching materials are allowing students to perform device characterization on diodes, transistors, op-amps, filters and amplifiers. Content 1. Diodes characteristics 2. Rectifier Circuit 3. Bipolar junction transistor (BJT) 4. DC Biasing on the AC operation of a common-emmiter amplifier 5. Operational amplifier circuits and their characteristics 6. 555 Multivibrator circuits 7. Active filters - principles of an active filter, active low pass filter
