1.Basic properties of materials 2.Structure, composition, influence on properties, atom composition, bonding energy, electronegativity 3.Properties of substances, states, conductors, semiconductors and insulators, band theory of conductivity 4. Conductors, current conduction in metals, dependence of el. current on conditions, highly conductive metals (Cu, Ag, Al) 5.Other metals (Zn, Cd, Sn, Ni, Ti, Co, Cr, Pt, Pd, Ir, Os, Rh, Ru, Ag) 6. Heavy-duty metals (W, Mo, Ta), resistor alloys, contacts, solders 7.Magnetism, essence, magnetic materials 8.Electrical insulators, basic properties, distribution, and overview of important insulators 9. Semiconductors, intrinsic conductivity, band theory, improper conductivity, elementary semiconductors, compounds 10.
