Course content
1. Definition of the term social psychology, historical development of the field. 2. Consciousness, subconsciousness, behavior. 3. Interpretation of the socialization process. 4. Social groups. 5. The family as a formative factor in shaping personality. 6. Communication. 7. Communication. 8. Self-concept ? forming a healthy self-concept. 9. Self-concept - self-assertion of an individual. 10. Self-concept - defining personal boundaries. 11. Archetypes as driving and formative forces in man. 12. Challenging life situations. 13. Work with stress.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
  • Contact teaching - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a credit (assessment) - 26 hours per semester
  • Writing a seminar paper - 26 hours per semester
  • Term paper - 11 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
To hand over basic knowledge about functioning of human psyche, to prepare graduates of specialization for effective progression in interpersonal interaction; and increase their fruitfulness on the employment market.
