Course content
The role of internet in ICT, development and trends. Users - market segmentation. Internet - the important source of information. Security and safety factors of internet and its threats. Internet - e-communication. Intranet in the company control. Marketing online, e-shop, e-business - B2C, B2B ... E-learning , e-banking. SW products, open source, freeware SW and platforms for e-commerce using. E-government. Internet and competitiveness of the company. FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Strategy and Management. Financial analysis. Altman analysis. Business Plan. Process modeling in the context of information system design. Methodologies, models and standards of modeling of processes. Modeling of specific business processes and creating of BPMN models. Modeling with using of ARIS software tools.

Learning outcomes
The students should acquire the main principles and rules in commercial usage of internet for strengthening company competitive advantages. The course is focused on ICT of company communication, e-business, marketing online and using other external e-applications. Students will become familiar with the modeling of business processes and with the modeling in the design of the business plan and the information system of the company.
The students acquire practical knowledge and skills of Internet use, particularly in the e-commerce area.
Prerequisites
The students should have a basic knowledge of management and marketing. Notebook with Windows.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Creative work analysis

Active mandatory attendance of seminars and lectures where selected topics will be practiced and also fulfilling of certain specified requirements. Successful finishing of all tasks is required.
