Course content
1. Basic terms - IT, OT, standards 2. ISO / OSI model, TCP / IP 3. Ethernet 4. Industrial Ethernet (Profinet, Powerlink) 5. Industrial Fieldbuses (HART, Profibus) 6. Time Sensitive Network 7. Interconnecting network elements (cables, routers, switches segments) 8. Switching (Industrial Switches, IT Switches) 9. Routing 10. NAT Translation 11. Wireless technologies 12. IoT (MQTT) 13. Tools for collecting, visualizing and analyzing industrial data

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities, Demonstration, Skills training, Laboratory work

Learning outcomes
Cílem tohoto předmětu je seznámit studenty s konceptem průmyslových sítí. Student získá přehled o používaných standardech, rozdílech mezi IT a OT, používaných zařízeních, komunikačních protokolech, konvergovaných sítích a síťovém dohledu.
Students will get an overview of used standards, differences between IT and OT, used devices, communication protocols, converged networks and network surveillance.

Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, mathematical logic, numerical systems
