Learning outcomes
Goal of this course is to bring deeper understanding of frame switching for LAN, wireless LANs, security of access layer and to acquire related skills. Gained skills are oriented for successful administration of small and medium sized companies.
After completing this course, students will have theoretical knowledges about architecture, concepts and tasks of router, deep knowledge about architecture of internetnetworks, and basic management of this networks. Students should be able to apply gained skills for analysis, configurations and validating basic faults and setting of routed networks.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites and co-requisites The prerequisite is successful completion of the course Computer Networks 1 and 2 (if the interest exceeds the capacity of the course, students will be selected according to the prerequisites for successful mastery of this course (provable knowledge of Computer Networks 1 and 2) Basic knowledge of Linux operating system, fundamentals of programming and knowledge of computer networks at CCNA level is required. This knowledge must be demonstrated by taking the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA1, CCN2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The condition for granting credit is the successful completion of the second semester of the CCNA e-learning course (required success in the final theoretical test and practical is 80%).
