Single market and the protection of competition. Common trade policy. Common transport policy and trans-European networks. Common agricultural policy. Consumer protection policy. Common foreign and security policy. Migration policy. Regional policy.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the subject is to characterize the basic causes supporting the integration of states within the European Communities, to characterize the respective policies leading to the stabilization of the economic situation of the individual states as well as the EU as a whole and to evaluate the respective impacts of the economic policy implementation on the EU economy as well as on the economies of the member states.
Student will be able to orientate in the complicated environment of the European integration, or to better understand theirs conditions and mutual relationships of separate policies in the EU.

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of the issue of the economics and economic policy taught in bachelor study is the condition.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment
The assignment will be awarded on the basis of: - active participation in seminars in the range stipulated by the Dean`s decision, - elaboration and successful defense of the seminar work on the chosen actual topic corresponding to the lecture issues, - passing the assignment test (success rate over 60 %, the extent of the substance corresponds to the presented topics at the seminars), The alternative assignment will be granted on the basis of the acceptance the research from a foreign language literature. The exam will be written (for regular and the first resit term) or oral (for the second resit term).
