Indicators and its systems. Extensive and intensive quantities, indices and differences. Individual simple indices. Individual compound indices and its differences. Aggregate indices and its differences, sorting and classification. Demographic statistics. Statistics of population incomes and consumption. Price statistics and GDP statistics. Statistics of industry, business and services. Conjunctural research and analysis.

Learning outcomes
|
The goal of this matter is to extend and improve ability in application of knowledge gained from quantitativete items.
The student is acquainted with the contemporary Czech system of the economic and social statistical indicators, its interconnection with harmonized system within the EU as well as with practical determination processes and possibilities of its use in the analysis of the economic events.

Předmět Ekonomická statistika navazuje na úvodní kurz teorie pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistiky.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination
Assignment - written test. Exam - granting is conditioned by passing the written test. It comprises of the theoretical and practical part. At least 51% success rate is required.
