Course content
|
Essentials of propositional and predicate calculus. Sets . Essentials of mathematical analysis - sequence of real numbers and its limit. Function of one real variable, special categories of functions, elementary functions. Limit and continuity of function . Differential calculus of a function with one variable - derivation of a function, derivations of elementary functions, differentiable function and differential of a function, application of a differential with approximate calculus. Average value theorems, Taylor's multinominal and its use. Taylor's theorem. L'Hospital's rule. General examination of a course of a function. Integral number of functions with one variable. Primitive functions and improper integral, basic integration methods. Integration of rational functions. Proper integral, Riemann's and Newton's theorem about proper integral. Calculation methods. Infinite integrals. Use of proper integral. Infinite series - criteria of a convergence of numerical series with positive elements, alternating series, absolutely convergent series . Function series, convergence range, total series. Power series, radius and interval of convergence. Taylor's series. Use of series.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to recapitulate, improve and organize the knowledge acquired in lectures and seminars of the course Mathematic I and further develop the skill of the students to solve independently exercises in all discussed thematic spheres. Students have got the possibility to consult difficult exercises and ask about more complicated parts of the mathematical theory.
Students will be able to apply obtained skills in solving concrete mathematical, technical and economic problems.
