Learning outcomes
|
This course aims to extend knowledge of students that acquired in subject Descriptive Statistics, specifically develop the theoretical basis of methods and techniques of statistical inference. This course will cover mainly the theory of estimation and hypothesis testing and will introduce students to their practical application using the statistical packages like Statistics and table processor Excel.
Students will be able to apply methods of the probability theory in encountering practical tasks as well as in real situations.

Prerequisites
|
Prerequisite for mastering of the subject PPAS1 is knowledge of the subjects mathematics 1 and mathematics 2.

|
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring
Assignment-completion of all given tasks and passing of two written tests.
