Course content
Human resource management and its task in a firm. Position and function of human resource units. Personal activities. Personal planning. Choice of job applicants, method of choice. Information evaluation Employees development. Career planning and management. Legal aspects of labour relations. Employees evaluation. Approaches of job evaluation, forms and their utilization. Motivation. Motivation theory. Motivation for working power. Employees further education, analysis of education needs. Choice of education activities. Care of employees. Social advantages. Group negotiation. Employees renumeration. Salary structure.

Learning outcomes
The target of a subject is to familiarize students with a human resource management and using in the practice. The structure of the study includes all individual parts of managing and familiarizes the students with personal behavior and manager skills. Lessons are used during an instruction and an emphasis is insisted on practice applications with using training methods in model situations. The latest ascertainments in the area of personnel management and people behavior in organizations will be used.
Students can use the obtained theoretical knowledge in the field of human resource management and related disciplines, they will be able to choose the appropriate procedures and methods for solving problems arising from human resources management, to present their effects facing the experts and laymen, defending their solutions with adequate arguments.
Prerequisites
The course assumes knowledge of management at the undergraduate level.
