Course content
International environment and possibilities of international business. World economy and globalization. Economics of the European Union. Economics and economic policy of the Czech Republic. Economics of public sector. Regional development and current situation in terms of national specifics. Financial instruments and possibilities of their use. Energetics. Ecology. Education, science and technology.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge of the current economic situation in the world and the Czech Republic in selected areas, including basic economic data and their development.
