Course content
Introduction, description of states and phenomena, one-criterion evaluation. Benefit. Multi-criteria decision making - overview of methods. Additive, lexicographic and aspiration method. Multi-criteria comparison of variants - according to individual criteria. Multicriterial comparison - by pairs of criteria and difference. Multicriterial programming. Decision making under uncertainty and game theory. Quantities dependencies - practical applications. Sparse scales. Application of indexes in analysis and decision making. Monte Carlo Method. Group decision making. Expert methods.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to broaden and deepen the knowledge of decision making also consolidate and develop practical management skills and abilities through interactive business simulation.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: eruditely discuss the concept of utility in the context with supporting methods of multi-criteria comparison; explain the application procedure of individual multi-criteria decision-making methods; to use their knowledge and laws of game theory when solving decision-making problems. A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: apply individual decision-making methods to a decision-making problem; assess which of the decision-making methods are more or less suitable for a specific case; apply indices in the analysis of a decision-making problem and draw conclusions. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: analyze the problem and choose a specific decision support tool; apply decision-making support tools and, based on the evaluation of the results, come to a final decision to solve the problem.

Written or oral exam with the condition of previously obtaining credit by completing correspondence tasks.
